AA：2013 Elite Rewards

Enjoy more rewards, more often. Register for Elite Rewards and meet the thresholds for elite-qualifying miles, points or segments. We already offer our customers three elite status tiers – Executive Platinum, Platinum and Gold, each with their own benefits. Now, we've created 4 new milestones that offer rewards to complement existing elite status benefits. You are eligible to select one reward from each milestone for which you qualify. Here's how the program works: Register for the Elite Rewards program. To reach GOLD STATUS, you'll need 25,000 miles or points or 30 segments. As a Gold member, you will enjoy all of the benefits associated with this tier. To reach Milestone 1, you'll need 40,000 miles or points or 45 segments. At this milestone, you may choose one of the following rewards: 10,000 bonus miles, 3 500-Mile Upgrades, 2 Admirals Club one-day passes, Free BAGS VIP Luggage Delivery, 10 percent aa.com discount. To reach PLATINUM STATUS, you'll need 50,000 miles or points or 60 segments. As a Platinum member, you will enjoy all of the benefits associated with this tier. To reach Milestone 2, you'll need 75,000 miles or points or 80 segments. At this milestone, you may choose one of the following rewards: 20,000 bonus miles, 1 systemwide upgrade, 5 500-Mile Upgrades, 4 Admirals Club one-day passes, 5 Single-Segment Wi-Fi Passes. To reach EXECUTIVE PLATINUM STATUS, you'll need 100,000 miles or points or 100 segments. As an Executive Platinum member, you will enjoy all of the benefits associated with this tier. To reach Milestone 3, you'll need 125,000 miles or points or 130 segments. At this milestone, you may choose one of the following rewards: 30,000 bonus miles, 2 systemwide upgrades, Gift of Gold for a Friend, Admirals Club Membership, 20 percent aa.com discount. To reach Milestone 4, you'll need 150,000 miles or points or 160 segments. At this milestone, you may choose one of the following rewards: 40,000 bonus miles, 4 systemwide upgrades, Gift of Platinum for a Friend, Admirals Club Membership, Global Entry Fee Sponsorship.

5. 5張GoGoWifi的單航段機上無線網路使用券
6. aa.com 8折使用券

150,000 Points/Elite Qualifying Miles（EQMs）或160航段
1. 40,000 miles
2. 4張全系統升等券（可用在國際線，適用所有付費機票）
3. 1張可以送給朋友的白金卡
4. Admiral Club一年會員資格
5. Global Entry費用補助。

這些elite reward是可以累計的。
比如說，要是在年底前飛到100,000 EQMs，就可以在越過40,000 EQMs的時候挑一個獎勵，越過75,000 EQMs時再挑一個獎勵。

如果從使用哩程以$0.02/mile以上的價值兌換國際線長程商務/頭等艙的角度來想，哩程大概是最有價值的獎勵。其他的角度會有不同的看法。

這是非常聰明的活動，可以誘使會員多花機票錢。
比如說，原來飛到25,000 EQMs的金卡會員，可能會因為40,000 EQMs的elite reward而多飛15,000 EQMs。多飛15,000 EQMs的機票錢肯定超過每一個獎勵的成本。而飛到40,000之後，又會讓一些朋友有想要飛到50,000 EQMs的衝動。由此類推，這個活動對於AA來說穩賺不賠。這是一個可以讓買賣雙方都開心的活動。

對搭乘AA或寰宇一家航班有需求又可以有時間Mileage Run的朋友來說，如果能夠把握一些AA特價機票的機會，這個elite rewards活動可以間接降低你達到或保持高等會員的成本。
